Ford Ecoboost Challenge:
Cross-Platform Ad Campaign
This project was a collaboration between Ford (client), Jumpstart Automotive Group (creative direction) and Point Roll (production). I was the Interactive Designer of the creative team at JumpStart Automotive Group and I worked with a team of a Product Manager, a Marketing Manager and a Creative Director to create a multi screen user-friendly shopping experience for a 300px X 600px Expandable Desktop Unit, which expands to 600px X 800px, a Pushdown Desktop Unit, which starts as a 970px X 90px banner and expands to 970px X 415px, a Mobile Unit, which starts as a 320px X 50px banner and expands to 320px X 415px, and a Tablet Unit that starts as a 728px X 90px banner and expands to 728px X 315px. Through 5 easy steps, the viewers can select their desired Ford and compare them with four competitor vehicles, then the unit automatically locates the viewers’ location and asks them to put the estimate number of miles they drive per year. On the last step, the viewers are asked to select one category from four different categories of where they like to spend their money the most. After completing all the steps, the unit calculates the amount of the money that viewers can save per month if they buy the selected Ford compared to the competitive vehicles and it directs them to Ford’s website to read more about the Ford they have chosen and eventually buying it. This project was the biggest Ad. Campaign and the first Cross-Platform Ad Unit that Jumpstart Automotive Group had created and I was very happy to be a part of it.
